On Saturday, May 21st 2016 we had the pleasure of providing not just one, but 2 photo booths for the annual Big Fish Games company party. And these were not just any company party photo booths… They were each a green screen photo booth consisting of 8 incredible, custom-designed backgrounds produced by the intensely talented Big Fish creative department.

Actually, one of the booths had a green screen background while the other featured a blue screen. The party was billed as ‘Comic Prom’ and since people would be coming in all manner of costume, it was determined that having a green screen booth AND a blue screen booth would be the best tack to ensure people in green didn’t disappear into the background. This was a brilliant decision for technical reasons and for keeping the line moving for the 500+ guests.

The Big Fish team also went the extra distance to produce custom, comic-themed artwork for what would serve as their printed strips. Here is a rendering of the full artwork in addition to an example with guest images.

As two booths and this many guests is a bit more of a production than usual, yet another great decision was made to have a third Party Ambassador (what we call our professional booth attendants) helping folks to identify their digital background choice and direct them to the appropriate booth based on their clothing color. And Ashley, the line facilitator this evening, took it up a notch and rocked the event in full cosplay mode as Harley Quinn!

In addition to the Seattle skyline image at the top, here are the 7 remaining and AMAZING backgrounds people got to choose from:

The busy holiday season continues to surge and we had the great pleasure of joining Schuchart/Dow for their holiday party and providing a Georgetown Ballroom photo booth experience for them and their guests like no other. Georgetown Ballroom is a fantastic place to host a party with two large adjoining spaces providing ample room for company parties, charity events, weddings, record release parties and much much. Schuchart/Dow are one of the Pacific Northwest’s leading custom builders with an incredibly deep bench of talented designers, carpenters, builders and project managers responsible for some of Seattle’s most renowned landmark buildings. In working with our contact there we came up with a very simple design for their printed strips based on our Minimalist theme and incorporating their logo to produce a result that paired really well with their choice of our Gatsby deluxe photo booth background. Printed strip examples from a Georgetown Ballroom Photo Booth The night got off to a fun and rocking start with nice participation from the adults, but the booth really got a run for the money from all the kids that kept coming back for more and more fun. Our prop trunk provided the inspiration while the Schuchart/Dow folks brought down the house! Wow, what can one say about this gorgeous wedding and running an Arctic Club Hotel photo booth? It was all just too, too good and a feast for the eyes with a stunning bride, fabulous florals and excellent decor.

The Arctic Club Hotel’s Norther Lights Dome room is one of THE most beautiful wedding venues in Seattle and certainly one of the favorites of our founder and Seattle Wedding Photographer Kip Beelman. The gilded Rococo motifs in conjunction with the leaded-glass domed ceiling sets a stage of historical elegance and contemporary style that we never tire of.

Located in Seattle, having an Arctic Club photo booth is easy and convenient for you and guests. There is an alcove adjacent to the bar that our experience fits into perfectly where we are accessible, but not out in the main area of your reception.

In sticking with the theme of there elegantly designed wedding, Ashley chose our Classic template and elected for guests to receive printed postcards rather than strips. Guests were WAY into the booth and racked up over 400 shots in three hours!

Ashley and Sam elected to have our prop trunk present, but also imparted some of their personal style by adding a vintage parasol from Bella Umbrella, a fairy wand and three wooden frames. Guests loved the combination of the normal, silly props and those provided by Ashley and Same for a touch of elegance.

Katherine + David’s Seattle Design Center photo booth is currently the largest wedding we’ve done to date with over 400 guests pounding our pavement and creating unique photo memories for themselves and the newly married couple.

With talented photographer Benj Haisch documenting the wedding, we were free to soak up the atmosphere of Katherine + David’s celebration. In addition to their custom-designed step and repeat backdrop by Sugarcomb’s Tara Lee, they augmented our prop trunk upgrade with some favorite flavors of Katherine… MINIONS!

Their photo strips were uniquely their own with again, a truly custom design by Tara Lee that seamlessly fit into their wedding design. We love the custom stamp Tara came up with!

With 400 guests you can only imagine how hopping things were. Right? This is a great example of what we mean when we say that the photo booth can provide more pictures of your guests than normal wedding coverage can. How about a photo of nearly every person there?!

And how cool is it that the couple get handed a rich 10×10 leather-bound album at the end of the night that is CHOCK FULL of photos of them and their loved ones that they can enjoy right then versus waiting weeks (or months) for their wedding photos to come back. Yeehaw! Enjoy some frames from Katherine + David’s 400 person throw down.

Myles and Michael’s Seattle Aquarium photo booth was off tha chain y’all!! Well maybe or maybe not, but we’re sort of required to let you think so, right?!

Seriously though, it was a gorgeous summer night on the Seattle waterfront and a great location to celebrate love. Seattle Wedding Photographer Kip Beelman was on story-telling patrol while we set-up shop just around the corner from the main event space, but WITHIN VIEW of the amazing 400,000 gallon saltwater tank that is definitely the focal point for each wedding reception or event at the Aquarium.

The couple chose to work on a modified version of our Classic template for printed strips that they paired with our Glitter Ombre backdrop. Purple and gold… Might someone be a Huskies fan?!

They had a very active booth with a lot of participation from the older crowd, which is always fun to see. They elected for our 10×10 leather-bound album for their prints and kept our attendant Cecilia busy all night getting the printed strips into the book and helping guests get their well wishes and anecdotes recorded.

Such great guys, such a great night. They and their guests were definitely living the #lightninglife

Leshya + JasonEMP PHOTO BOOTHExperience Music Project - Seattle, WA

Wow, wow, wow, wow… Leshya + Jason’s EMP photo booth was from another planet! Have you ever seen or been to a wedding at EMP?! It’s truly like no other with an incredible experience that is central to Seattle for out of town guests and visually stunning with the giant video wall in the Skychurch area where most, and these guys, have their reception.

We had the pleasure of working closing with Megan Keller of A Kurant Event to nail down all the logistics and make sure that our contribution to Leshya and Jason’s dream day was on point. If/when planning your shindig, we cannot say enough good things about this fine lady!

Their booth was simple elegance with a white backdrop and further personalization of incorporating their own custom graphics into their printed strips. Another cool aspect of their photo booth experience was that the AV specialist at EMP was able to access a hot folder we created on Dropbox so that images from their booth could periodically be displayed on the ginormous Skychurch screen. And how big is ginormous? How about seeing photo booth images displayed on a 60′ wide by 33′ tall HD LED screen!!

All night long people kept coming at us trying to show the booth who was boss, but we won every time. Leshya + Jason won too as they have an incredible collection of one-of-a-kind images of their guests to cherish for the rest of their lives.

Mimi + BenSODO PARK PHOTO BOOTHSodo Park by Herban Feast - Seattle, WA

We’ve seen a lot of pretty weddings, but you just KNOW you are in for a treat when you are part of a wedding that involves Michelle Bernard from Married and More With Michelle. H-O-L-Y-C-O-W this was a feast for the eyes and a durn good time!

Mimi and Ben’s Sodo Park photo booth was staged in the northwest corner of the building and provided great access to folks as they donned horse heads, posed with inflatable guitars, did dubious things with a giant bone and much, much more.

When clients add a printer and choose the (2) 2×6 strip option we are on our toes as one strip is reserved for the couple whilst the other gets to walk away as a keepsake with some lucky guest. And while we offer a gorgeous 10×10 leather-bound scrapbook to place the couples’ strips in alongside well wishes from their guests, Michelle ponied up her own book that became chock-a-block full of amazing booth images and some of the sweetest anecdotes and sentiments we’ve ever seen.

This was SUCH as gorgeous event and Mimi + Ben’s guests were dropping serious heat in the booth all night long. Yeah a booth is fun at nearly any event, but it’s crews like this that really, really make for a memorable (and slightly scandalous) night of fun!

Serving as a record release photo booth the promotion of the new EP by Seattle band The Young Evils at Vermillion gallery was a hoot, a holler and a roaring good time with members from the music and culture communities turning out in force for this event sponsored by Do206 and Goose Island Brewing.

Vermillion starts off as a narrow art gallery that funnels into a bar and performance space. The gallery provided a great spot for us to set up with the backdrop on one side and the booth system nearing the other. Guest arrivals had almost no choice but to hop in the booth on their way to getting a drink and hanging with the punters in the performance area.

Do206’s General Manager Jay Cox pulled out all the stops and even lined up a HUGE step and repeat banner for the background that featured the logos for The Young Evils, Do206 and Goose Island Brewing. This is a GREAT way to get your brand and messaging across to guests while also continuing to reap the benefits as the images are shared via social media.

The design department of Do206 to our Photoshop template and quickly whipped it into the perfect digital postcard to send out live from the event via our on-site Social Sharing kiosk. We saw these EVERYWHERE on Facebook that night and over the following days.

Serving as a Sodo Park photo booth for Ali + Connors absolutely STUNNING wedding at Herban Feast’s premier catering hall in Seattle, WA was amazing – We were just another piece in a big puzzle put together by the incomparable planner Michelle Bernard from Married With Michelle. We don’t think we’ve ever seen this much eye candy and thoughtful design at a Seattle wedding ever before… Wow, just wow!

Sodo Park by Herban Feast is an industrial catering hall full of aged wood floors and posts with a rough and rustic charm that is uniquely its own. We were set up in the northeast corner near the entrance and guests kept coming back for more and more.

For this event they wanted to have the booth operational for cocktail hour and then again after dinner. Michelle had us begin set up at 3pm which was an hour before the ceremony. The booth was then charging a lesser rate, known as idle hours, during the ceremony before kicking into gear for cocktail hour. We then went idle again for two hours during dinner, toasts, first dances, cake cutting and such before firing it back up 9pm and rolling until midnight.

Our booth concept is wide open… Open air, if you will. Rather than one or two people sitting in a confessional style booth we pack in more people for more fun. This event holds our current record when Connor and 13 of his (very) close friends jammed into the frame.

Ali and Connors custom photo strip artwork from our Sodo Park photo booth

Ali and Connor worked with one of Michelle’s favorite designers to come up with style and branding elements that were all their own. These were passed to us and voila… A unique, custom design that stayed true to the look and feel of their wedding for their printed strips and guest keepsakes.

Serving as a Seattle photo booth for Eleanor + Patrick’s intimate and stylish wedding at the Olympic Sculpture Park in Seattle was a fab affair for sure. Elegance permeated throughout and their guests thoroughly enjoyed the booth. This event also resulted in more props disappearing than any other… We an only imagine how many of the kids went home with crazy 80’s glasses.

Her beautiful sequined vintage gown tied in perfectly with our gold glittered Gatsby backdrop for some old school elegance. We set up in the main foyer and our elegant system looked right at home in the clean, modern environment of SAM’s Olympic Sculpture Park pavilion.

Eleanor and Patrick elected to have our on-site printer produce (2) 2×6 strips for them and their guests – Our attendant retains one of the strips for the couple while the other goes with the guests. The question we’re asked over and over when printing strips is if the booth can print multiple copies… The answer is no, but guests can go through the booth as many times as they like for unlimited photos and unlimited prints.

Eleanor + Patrick's seattle photo booth design for their printed strips

In this instance the couple also chose to have one of our gorgeous 10×10 leather-bound scrapbooks. As the photo booth attendant collects the clients strip from each series they place it on a black matte page of the book. Guests then write provide anecdotes and well wishes with metallic ink pens that we provide. At the end of the night it’s always a hit when we hand over the book full of photos and words from their loved ones while providing something to enjoy over the weeks or months the couple waits for their wedding photos.

It was an incredible night with a group of really fun people. Michelle Bernard of Married With Michelle did a fabulous job with the decor and event design. The long tables rather than round 10-tops only added to the elegant charm and sophisticated environment of the Olympic Sculpture Park pavilion.
